Iridium 9505A Recall:
Iridium and Celestica, the manufacturer of the
Iridium 9505A handset, have recalled most of
their newly distributed satellite phones. The
phone that you have purchased from Explorer
Satellite Communications may unfortunately be
affected by this recall.
Satellite phone Serial numbers (IMEIs) beginning
with the sequence 300014 are currently affected
by this recall. Should you currently be unable
to return your Iridium 9505A, we advise you
DO NOT enable your battery to become fully discharged.
Should an "invalid battery" message appear,
simply disregard and continue utilizing the
phone without enabling the battery to deplete.
Once you are able to return your phone for a
2-4 week period, please contact Explorer Satellite
for a RMA number. Shipping arrangements and
instructions will be provided at NO COST TO
YOU!
